Online Dating Comedy ‘As In Kevin’ Released

Online Dating Comedy ‘As In Kevin’ Released

Los Angeles, CA

Filmmaker and USC graduate, Summer Moore, hopes to capture the attention of people who use online dating swiping methods to find a relationship with her independent short film, ‘As In Kevin’.

Produced under a SAG/AFTRA New Media Agreement, the film takes a look at the online dating world and what one goes through to find a “normal” date. Based on true dates, the comedy nails the dating world. It is Moore’s hope that people will look at how they interact with others on sites such as Tinder and also help with the Women in Film movement. Synopsis produced and written by Moore and directed by Foster Corder (an African American Veteran).

‘As In Kevin’ is a comedy about a normal girl, Mackenzie (played by Moore), who lives in a world where the swiping of profiles of bloody dead fish and men who can’t spell the word ‘their’ right, is the standard method to find a suitable mate. How many dates does it take before she quits online dating and just gets a cat?

The film features Kash Hovey from ‘Another Blackout’, Josh Beren from ‘Books’, and several other social media stars. The film was released on November 23, 2016, for free, to the public and is currently in consideration for three major international film festival’s.

See Something Wrong? Have A Suggestion?

Though the Beta testing is well in the past, we at Max It are always working to improve the site, keep the gears oiled, and all around tinker to improve the experience for both the indie filmmakers that submit content, as well as the indie film lovers that drop in for their daily fix.

Just like suspicious activity, we ask that if you see something wrong, have a suggestion, or would just like to tell us just what you like or dislike about the site, you let us know.

We've a lot of things still to add (No Peeking Behind The Curtain!), but we want to make sure what is current online is working without issues. To do this each day we'll add more articles, tweak a feature here, remove a feature there. Just to keep things moving along in the right direction.

To let us know of anything, just click on Contact in the Main Menu at the top and give us as detailed a description of the problem, or suggestion and we'll do our best to look to see if and how it can be fixed, or added!

As always, we thank you for your support!
