‘A Charming Killer’ In Preproduction

‘A Charming Killer’ In Preproduction

Fort Gay, West Virginia, USA

Fan Films Productions, in association with Rose Mikaelson Productions and Mikaelson Studios, is producing, distributing and releasing an upcoming horror/crime/docudrama/thriller feature film called ‘A Charming Killer’. The film is based on a true story and tells the life story of Theodore Robert Bundy, known as Ted Bundy.

Taking place from the 1940’s to the 1980’s, Ted Bundy goes on a cross country killing spree, murdering young girls and women. During this time, he attends college, falls in love, finds out the truth about his parentage and gets a job working at the Seattle Suicide Crisis Hotline Center, where he meets and works alongside former police officer and aspiring true crime writer, Ann Rule. Ted and Ann soon become friends. Even though Ann is a former police officer, she works alongside the task force on the unsolved missing person cases and unsolved murders, unaware that her friend Ted is responsible for the crimes. No one that knows Ted suspects he is responsible for the crimes, but when he is arrested for the first time, everyone begins to wonders if he could be responsible for the crimes.

The film was developed in the small town of Fort Gay, West Virginia in November 2016 by Matty Bates and Rose Mikaelson. Matty Bates is a new and upcoming director and screenwriter and Rose Mikaelson is a new and upcoming actress and model. Rose Mikaelson is the creator of the film. She came up with the idea for the movie and enlisted the help of her friend Matty Bates to write the screenplay. Rose Mikaelson was going to be the director, but in December 2016, she decided to let her friend and co-screenwriter Matty Bates  be the director. As of right now, and because the film is in the early stages of preproduction, Matty Bates and Rose Mikaelson are the only crew members on the film.

The film takes place from the 1940’s to the 1980’s, all of the props, vehicles and costumes on the film will be vintage. Matty Bates is the director and co-screenwriter on the film and Rose Mikaelson is the casting director, co-screenwriter, producer and part of the cast. The film will possibly be shot at different locations, including Vermont, Philadelphia, Washington, California, Utah, Colorado, Florida, West Virginia, and several more.

The film is still casting several roles for the film.

Auditions can be submitted in-person and on-video. The auditions on video are from January 23, 2017 to July 31, 2017. The auditions in person are from July 20, 2017 to July 25, 2017. The auditions in person will be held in the Los Angeles, CA area from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. No appointment required. Actors need to bring a resume and headshot. There will be sides at the audition. See Something Wrong? Have A Suggestion?

Though the Beta testing is well in the past, we at Max It are always working to improve the site, keep the gears oiled, and all around tinker to improve the experience for both the indie filmmakers that submit content, as well as the indie film lovers that drop in for their daily fix.

Just like suspicious activity, we ask that if you see something wrong, have a suggestion, or would just like to tell us just what you like or dislike about the site, you let us know.

We've a lot of things still to add (No Peeking Behind The Curtain!), but we want to make sure what is current online is working without issues. To do this each day we'll add more articles, tweak a feature here, remove a feature there. Just to keep things moving along in the right direction.

To let us know of anything, just click on Contact in the Main Menu at the top and give us as detailed a description of the problem, or suggestion and we'll do our best to look to see if and how it can be fixed, or added!

As always, we thank you for your support!
