Paz VS Stuff – Horror Series

Paz VS Stuff – Horror Series

Paz VS Stuff is an interactive transmedia series following a vlogger who sets out to conquer the internet but instead uncovers its darkest secrets. Paz is a film critic, amateur journalist and vlogger who has written reviews and features for TenEighty Magazine, youvegotredonyou.com and foundfootagecritic.com, as well as posting regular updates on her own blog. She currently has 75k page views on her blog, 18k active twitter followers, and 34k views and 2k subscribers on her YouTube channel.

She also doesn’t exist. Paz vs Stuff is an interactive transmedia horror story about an aspiring YouTube star whose content is derailed when her biggest fan becomes her biggest troll. As the cyberstalking intensifies, Paz begins to suspect that there is more to her antagonist than a few mean remarks on Twitter and she soon unravels a mystery that leads her into the dark heart of the internet.

Creator Chris Regan and his team have been performing as Paz online since 2014, creating a real world back-story with genuine interactions that can be tracked via her Twitter, Blogger and YouTube feeds. The ongoing story is also told in real time providing audiences with a unique opportunity to interact with its main character as the narrative unfolds. Paz vs. Stuff is written and directed by Chris Regan who has previously written the UK features Ten Dead Men, Warrioress and the upcoming London Heist. The series stars Cheryl Burniston, who also played the lead in acclaimed action-comedy short 7.2, which premiered at the London Film Festival 2014.

See Something Wrong? Have A Suggestion?

Though the Beta testing is well in the past, we at Max It are always working to improve the site, keep the gears oiled, and all around tinker to improve the experience for both the indie filmmakers that submit content, as well as the indie film lovers that drop in for their daily fix.

Just like suspicious activity, we ask that if you see something wrong, have a suggestion, or would just like to tell us just what you like or dislike about the site, you let us know.

We've a lot of things still to add (No Peeking Behind The Curtain!), but we want to make sure what is current online is working without issues. To do this each day we'll add more articles, tweak a feature here, remove a feature there. Just to keep things moving along in the right direction.

To let us know of anything, just click on Contact in the Main Menu at the top and give us as detailed a description of the problem, or suggestion and we'll do our best to look to see if and how it can be fixed, or added!

As always, we thank you for your support!
