‘Bryant Park Jugglers’ is a 60-second documentary about a group of jugglers who have become residents of daily activity for visitors of the park to participate in. The documentary was created for Sony’s FS7 II competition and highlights the founder of the group and a few of its 800 strong members. The project was shot and edited in a single day, on January 30th, 2017, in New York City’s Bryant Park where park goers, young and old, can be seen learning how to juggle on the fly.
The super short doc features the program’s founder, Alex Dyer, as he briefly tells the story of how he got started. The film was directed, shot and edited by filmmaker Jabari Clarke-Pennegan, who has been working as a freelancer in NYC for the past 7 years.
