Goreella Media Developing 2nd Neo-Noir Feature

Goreella Media Developing 2nd Neo-Noir Feature

Hollywood, CA, United States.

Goreella Media announced today that it is developing a neo-noir or, as they like to call it, a neon-noir film, set to be released in 2018, called ‘The Hurt’.

“The movie is an attempt to showcase the porn industry in an intimate and objective way that will provide a sense of empathy towards the men and women who sell sex for a living.” ‘The Hurt’ will be Goreella’s 2nd feature film in two years. If it’s anything like their first film ‘On The Brain’, it will certainly provide an entertaining experience for horror and noir fans. Struggling with her father’s suicide, Cody, a disillusioned teenage girl, puts her faith in a sexy, yet sadistic, stranger that introduces her to the dark world of pornography. Suddenly, the world as she knows it comes crashing down after she discovers the alluring, yet sinister, pleasures that come with exploiting her body.

Written by Brandon Trask & Directed by Kevin Van Stevenson.

The Goreella Media team has been working on several scripts since their first feature, ‘On The Brain’. After numerous scripts, the idea to produce ‘The Hurt’ became a passion project for Brandon Trask because the isolation that comes with sex exploitation transcends to many other facets of life Trask is all too familiar with. “Understanding that people believe they are trying their best to be their best was an instrumental part of me writing this film. It’s definitely going to make the viewer understand the reasons that persuade a young woman to choose this lifestyle; and that’s a story I haven’t seen before, and I can’t wait to tell it to the world.” – Brandon Trask

See Something Wrong? Have A Suggestion?

Though the Beta testing is well in the past, we at Max It are always working to improve the site, keep the gears oiled, and all around tinker to improve the experience for both the indie filmmakers that submit content, as well as the indie film lovers that drop in for their daily fix.

Just like suspicious activity, we ask that if you see something wrong, have a suggestion, or would just like to tell us just what you like or dislike about the site, you let us know.

We've a lot of things still to add (No Peeking Behind The Curtain!), but we want to make sure what is current online is working without issues. To do this each day we'll add more articles, tweak a feature here, remove a feature there. Just to keep things moving along in the right direction.

To let us know of anything, just click on Contact in the Main Menu at the top and give us as detailed a description of the problem, or suggestion and we'll do our best to look to see if and how it can be fixed, or added!

As always, we thank you for your support!
