Northbound Series Launches Kickstarter

Northbound Series Launches Kickstarter

Michigan, USA

Lullskull Ltd. and Michigan-based “A” Street Films, LLC. announce the launch of a Kickstarter campaign to raise production funds for Season 2 of their ongoing SciFi/Survivalist GeekNation Original Series NORTHBOUND.

Since its launch, the campaign has been selected for the “Projects We Love” by the Kickstarter Staff. Shot entirely in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula region, NORTHBOUND follows a lone father, Alex (Nate Alwine) as he fights to protect his comatose daughter, Crystal (daughters Callie and Addie Alwine) from the new, deadly landscape of a post-cataclysmic North America.

Season 2 finds Alex and Crystal falling in with a pacifist community lead by Pastor Wallace (Mike March). As events escalate and tensions rise with a rival militia known as The Firewalkers, both groups will push the limits of their fragile cease-fire to maintain control of the North Woods. Little do they know, a military faction moving into the area, known only as Allied Command North America, has other intentions.

Once funded, Season 2 will move into production late fall 2016 and premiere an exciting 4-episode opener on the entertainment website GeekNation on winter 2016-17. It is the goal of Co-creators/Directors/Michigan natives Seth and Nathan Anderson, and Producer/Writer Jason Hagen to bring film and series projects to the under-represented Upper Peninsula region in an effort to revitalize the arts and local economies.

The filmmakers seek to seed a self-sustaining filmmaking movement across the region, and your contribution to this campaign will only help cement that effort. Season 2 will lead directly into a feature length film titled NORTHSTAR.

Series is also open to Co-production and brand advertising/sponsorship.

See Something Wrong? Have A Suggestion?

Though the Beta testing is well in the past, we at Max It are always working to improve the site, keep the gears oiled, and all around tinker to improve the experience for both the indie filmmakers that submit content, as well as the indie film lovers that drop in for their daily fix.

Just like suspicious activity, we ask that if you see something wrong, have a suggestion, or would just like to tell us just what you like or dislike about the site, you let us know.

We've a lot of things still to add (No Peeking Behind The Curtain!), but we want to make sure what is current online is working without issues. To do this each day we'll add more articles, tweak a feature here, remove a feature there. Just to keep things moving along in the right direction.

To let us know of anything, just click on Contact in the Main Menu at the top and give us as detailed a description of the problem, or suggestion and we'll do our best to look to see if and how it can be fixed, or added!

As always, we thank you for your support!
