New Metalhead Web Series By Rocker Chick Comedian

Los Angeles, CA. United States

The newest rock-comedy on YouTube, “Loch Ness”, is a web series about a folk-metal band from Omaha, Nebraska, made by UNL graduates in Los Angeles. Loch Ness is a comedy that will bring you back to your high school days and remind you what it was like rocking out, sneaking out, and just having fun! In this story, we follow the band “Loch Ness”‘s keyboardist Donna who along with her bandmates Joey, Kyle, and Steve, has a terrible time holding onto a lead singer. Between their problems completing their lineup, and Donna’s busybody parents, each episode is a struggle to keep this band together long enough to win the prize at the big show.

Created by Omaha native Christina Marie Leonard, Produced by UNL graduates Max Holm and Mijoe Sahiouni, as well as Rachel Gunnerson (also from the midwest) and starring Papillion native Chris Muckey and UNL graduates Jim Hanna and Lindsey Jean Routzel, the team came together to raise 10K on kickstarter and create a show to inspire laughter and bring back great memories. “Even though Loch Ness broke up during high school, it has remained a huge part of my life and inspired me to write this web series about a band with the same name” Stated Christina Marie Leonard, from her home in Toluca Lake, CA.

Christina Marie Leonard has been living in Los Angeles nearly 4 years, getting her start in “Riley Rewind”, which boasted 2,677,764 views in the first episode alone, and was then picked up by Netflix.

She now performs stand-up regularly in Los Angeles, as well as acting and producing short and hosting “The Hidden Rebels Podcast” on iTunes and “The Nebraska Coast Connection” salon at the Culver City hotel.

See Something Wrong? Have A Suggestion?

Though the Beta testing is well in the past, we at Max It are always working to improve the site, keep the gears oiled, and all around tinker to improve the experience for both the indie filmmakers that submit content, as well as the indie film lovers that drop in for their daily fix.

Just like suspicious activity, we ask that if you see something wrong, have a suggestion, or would just like to tell us just what you like or dislike about the site, you let us know.

We've a lot of things still to add (No Peeking Behind The Curtain!), but we want to make sure what is current online is working without issues. To do this each day we'll add more articles, tweak a feature here, remove a feature there. Just to keep things moving along in the right direction.

To let us know of anything, just click on Contact in the Main Menu at the top and give us as detailed a description of the problem, or suggestion and we'll do our best to look to see if and how it can be fixed, or added!

As always, we thank you for your support!
