All Episodes Of Vantastic The Series Released

Los Angeles, CA, United States

Actor/writer/producer Brent Alan Henry has released all 14 episodes of his original comedy web series “Vantastic.” The series, created with co producer Justin Downing, was made with little to no budget and uses a plethora of eye catching locations around Los Angeles. Filming and post production were ongoing over the last 18 months.

“Vantastic” tells the story of two dudes, Eric Taylor and Wade Waters, who buy a van and start their own private surveillance company. Once they get their first job, they can’t get out their own way attempting to solve the case. Crazy characters, head scratching conversations, and pulse pounding distractions follow Eric and Wade at every turn. Brent, an actor by trade, wanted to display a more comedic style than his roles thus far have showcased; Justin wanted to get more experience producing the type of project he has always enjoyed: comedy.

They came together with the concept, Brent wrote the distinctively funny script, and he and Justin played the leads. The cast was rounded out with the comedic talents of Faruq Tauheed, Mark Primiano, Frank Brantley, and Johnny Wactor. Alik Griffin joined the team as director, mixing his action style techniques and experience with an on-the-go comedic script. “You’ve got to make your own opportunities in this business, show them what you want them to see – you can’t wait around for things to come to you.” Stated Brent Alan Henry, in the middle of promoting “Vantastic’s” YouTube channel.

“This project is going to catch fire in front of the right set of eyeballs!” Brent Alan Henry has 20+ credits in TV and film, including Ray Donovan, Silicon Valley, Grey’s Anatomy, Castle, Manson Family Vacation, and Henry Danger. Justin Downing has had minor roles in acting, but has focused more on designing video game trailers, including Wolfenstein, Fallout, and Doom. Vantastic also features original music from Paul Haasch.

See Something Wrong? Have A Suggestion?

Though the Beta testing is well in the past, we at Max It are always working to improve the site, keep the gears oiled, and all around tinker to improve the experience for both the indie filmmakers that submit content, as well as the indie film lovers that drop in for their daily fix.

Just like suspicious activity, we ask that if you see something wrong, have a suggestion, or would just like to tell us just what you like or dislike about the site, you let us know.

We've a lot of things still to add (No Peeking Behind The Curtain!), but we want to make sure what is current online is working without issues. To do this each day we'll add more articles, tweak a feature here, remove a feature there. Just to keep things moving along in the right direction.

To let us know of anything, just click on Contact in the Main Menu at the top and give us as detailed a description of the problem, or suggestion and we'll do our best to look to see if and how it can be fixed, or added!

As always, we thank you for your support!
