Her First Black Guy at Newport Beach Film Festival

Rekon and Christopher T. Wood have joined forces again for another original comedy short penned by Mr. Wood. Her First Black Guy will be having its Newport Beach Premiere and is screening as part of the program ‘Mixed Short Bag’ on 4/24/2016 at 3:30 PM in The Triangle 1. Her First Black Guy was the last film shot at The Historic Formosa Café  in Hollywood before it was redesigned.

Her First Black Guy is Christopher T. Wood’s second short, in association with Rekon Productions and helmed by Sam Auster, comes to the Newport Beach Film Festival Comedy Starring Christopher T. Wood, James Black, Caroline Fogarty, John Bentley, Barry Wiggins, Chris Williams, Matt Riedy, Herve Clermont and Jason E. Kelly as “Barack Obama”.

Though the Beta testing is well in the past, we at Max It are always working to improve the site, keep the gears oiled, and all around tinker to improve the experience for both the indie filmmakers that submit content, as well as the indie film lovers that drop in for their daily fix.

We've a lot of things still to add (No Peeking Behind The Curtain!), but we want to make sure what is current online is working without issues. To do this each day we'll add more articles, tweak a feature here, remove a feature there. Just to keep things moving along in the right direction.
