Hulluus is an independent film that tells the story of Michelle Fons, an Advertising Agency owner. She seems to have a perfect life along with her husband Roberto Mendiola, however, her derailed mind will make her interpret Ione Rucquoi photo: “Heart to Heart” and it will show her that she is living in dual reality(Merging the real and virtual).
Alfonso Anzaldo Director/Producer 4 times winner of WorldFest Houston(2009, 2011, 2012, 2014) is in charge of this production. This Indie Filme will be promoted during Tribbeca Film FEst 2016. The production will return to Guadalajara Mexico to finish the post production work, the Film should be finish on time to a release date of late May. After its release in late May, the film is schedule to make a premier in the Venecia international Film Festival in September and Mar de Plata Argentina Film Festival in November.
Hulluus has been produced with local film people, born and raised in Guadalajara Mexico, the film is co-produced by Fernando Soto and includes Jose Luis Alfaro (Tory, Beverly Hills Chihuahua) Roberto Mendiola, Vania Manzano as Michelle Fons, Christopher Cardenas as Miguel Sanchez and Gala Canchola as Ericka Badel.
The entire film has been shot in locations around Jalisco Mexico, we thank the attention and permits that allowed our production to be made in Guadalajara and the Belen Cemetery (Panteon de Belen) We also want to thank Casa Herradura for their support during the shooting inside their location in Hacienda de San Jose del Refugio in Amatitan Jalisco.
