Bright Blue Gorilla Launches Crowdfunding Campaign

Bright Blue Gorilla Launches Crowdfunding Campaign

New York City, NY, United States

Indie filmmaker duo Robyn Rosenkrantz and Michael Glover have launched a crowdfunding campaign to fund the completion of their latest project – counterculture rom-com ‘Mr. Rudolpho’s Jubilee’. Mr. Rudolpho’s Jubilee is the story of a celebrity Italian fashion designer who becomes disillusioned with his shallow life and decides to take the drastic step of committing suicide during Berlin Fashion Week. Fortunately, his plan goes wrong, and he’s taken in by a group of Bohemian artists, who have no idea who he is. Meanwhile, the world outside searches for Rudolpho…

“Mr. Rudolpho’s Jubilee” stars German film and TV actress Christiane Paul and Italian indie actor Francesco Mazzini.

25 years ago this month Robyn Rosenkrantz and Michael Glover sold everything they owned (except their guitars…), bought one way tickets to Europe, and abandoned their Los Angeles lives. Since then they have travelled the world as wandering troubadours, creating art, recording albums, performing concerts, and making films under the moniker Bright Blue Gorilla. Robyn and Michael are passionate about creating art that is positive, uplifting, and unabashedly feel good. They have never sought wealth, instead choosing to bring live experiences to people around the world. Traveling constantly, they still have no fixed abode.

Bright Blue Gorilla is stepping it up a notch with ‘Mr Rudolpho’s Jubilee’, their most ambitious project to date, involving a 38 day shoot across 35 international locations, with a total cast and crew of almost 300 people. Now they need a helping hand to get the film finished. “With all our films we strive to create uplifting family comedies, without the cynicism of most mainstream cinema. Mr Rudolpho’s Jubilee is a feel good comedy with a message of love, contentment, and collaboration!” – Robyn Rosenkrantz

“Our philosophy is we’d rather have experiences than stuff. We feel most at home when we’re creating, and sharing those creations with people around the world. With ‘Mr Rudolpho’s Jubilee’ we want to give those people the opportunity to join us in the creative process, and supporters on indiegogo will be able to follow us every step of the way” – Michael Glover Rudolpho

See Something Wrong? Have A Suggestion?

Though the Beta testing is well in the past, we at Max It are always working to improve the site, keep the gears oiled, and all around tinker to improve the experience for both the indie filmmakers that submit content, as well as the indie film lovers that drop in for their daily fix.

Just like suspicious activity, we ask that if you see something wrong, have a suggestion, or would just like to tell us just what you like or dislike about the site, you let us know.

We've a lot of things still to add (No Peeking Behind The Curtain!), but we want to make sure what is current online is working without issues. To do this each day we'll add more articles, tweak a feature here, remove a feature there. Just to keep things moving along in the right direction.

To let us know of anything, just click on Contact in the Main Menu at the top and give us as detailed a description of the problem, or suggestion and we'll do our best to look to see if and how it can be fixed, or added!

As always, we thank you for your support!
